Start with the heating problem you want to solve

Tell us whether the old furnace has failed, you are planning its replacement or some rooms are hard to heat. Describe your current heating system, recent problems and any changes to the house. Those details help us plan a furnace installation in Castle Rock or Parker.

We look at your current setup and discuss the proposed equipment and work before installation begins. If you are unsure whether you need a new furnace, a heating and cooling assessment can help you compare repair and replacement options.

Look beyond the equipment itself

The installation proposal should explain how the new furnace will fit the available space and connect to the home’s existing system. We review the relevant duct connections, controls and installation requirements for the selected equipment. Tell us about persistent comfort problems so they can be considered alongside the furnace choice.

Ask what will stay and what needs to change. A new furnace does not mean every part of the heating system will be replaced. The proposal should explain which problems the installation is meant to solve and whether any other work needs to be discussed.

Coordinate with cooling and renovation plans

If the home also needs new cooling equipment, discuss AC installation at the same time. Knowing both plans before choosing equipment gives you a clearer picture of the shared connections and any work that should be coordinated. Each installation should still have an understandable scope and price.

If a renovation will change the use of rooms or access to the mechanical area, mention it early. Keep the work area accessible and share any drawings or renovation schedule that affect the installation. Do not modify fuel, electrical or venting connections in preparation for a visit.

Understand the installation and handover

Before starting, we discuss the work, likely disruption at home and responsibility for any permits or inspections. Ask what checks are included and how we will review the furnace's operation with you. Keep the equipment details, installation records and care instructions together for future reference.

What is included

  • Review of the current furnace and heating problems
  • Assessment of the available space, duct connections and controls
  • Explanation of parts staying in place and work needed for the new furnace
  • Installation of the furnace agreed for your home
  • Completion checks agreed for the installation
  • Review of furnace operation and care instructions

Common questions

Before you call

Do I have to replace the furnace because it is old?

Age alone does not tell you whether the furnace needs replacing. Describe any faults and how well it heats the home so we can assess the system before you choose repair or replacement.

Will a new furnace solve a cold room?

That needs assessment. We discuss the room and the existing system before making a recommendation; the installation proposal should explain what the work is intended to address.

Should I replace the AC at the same time?

Discuss both systems before choosing equipment if cooling replacement is also being considered. We explain the coordinated options without assuming both must be replaced.
