A furnace check before heating season
Tell us if you've noticed unusual noises, frequent starts and stops or rooms that are harder to keep warm. We can check the heating system at homes in Castle Rock and Parker and discuss what needs attention.
Bring any previous service records and equipment details you have. Tell us when the furnace was last checked and whether a repair has been recommended. This helps us understand its history and avoid assuming what earlier work included.
Know what the maintenance visit covers
We check the heating equipment we can access, how it runs and the maintenance needed for your model. We can discuss filters, controls and any visible condition that needs another look. Ask which checks and routine care are included when you book.
If something needs repair, we explain what we found and what to do next. Maintenance and additional repairs are separate jobs. Ask about the work, price and who will do it before approving any extra repairs. An existing system can still develop a fault after maintenance.
Maintenance, repair or a new furnace?
If your furnace has stopped heating or the same fault keeps returning, tell us when you call. A heating and cooling assessment may be the right place to start. Describing the symptoms helps us determine whether you need routine maintenance or a check to find the fault.
If replacement is being considered, furnace installation should be a separate conversation based on the equipment and your household needs. Maintenance does not automatically mean replacement. If you also plan AC installation, mention that so recommendations can take the existing indoor system into account.
Prepare for the visit
Keep access to the furnace and thermostat available and make a short list of what you have noticed. Do not remove equipment panels or work on fuel, electrical or venting connections. After the visit, keep the findings, work record and equipment care information together. Ask which items need attention now, which need further assessment and how to arrange any agreed follow-up.
